PawDoc Privacy Policy

PawDoc helps pet owners understand how urgent their pet's symptoms may be. We are built to need as little of your data as possible — there is no account, and we never ask for your name, email, or phone number.

What we process

  • Your pet profiles, health records, and check history stay on your device. We do not run accounts and cannot see this data.
  • Symptom descriptions and optional photos you submit for an AI check are sent over an encrypted connection to our server and a secure third-party AI service for analysis, then discarded. They are not stored on our servers and are never used to train AI models.
  • An anonymous identifier generated on your device lets us apply free-usage limits and prevent abuse. It is not linked to your identity.
  • Subscriptions are processed by the App Store / Google Play and a third-party billing service using an anonymous identifier. We never see your payment details.

    • What we do NOT collect

  • No name, email, phone number, contacts, or precise location.
  • No advertising identifiers — PawDoc has no ads and no third-party trackers.
  • We do not sell or share your data.

    • Data retention

    AI check inputs are processed transiently and not retained on our servers. Your local data stays on your device until you delete it (Settings → Delete all data) or uninstall the app.

    Medical disclaimer

    PawDoc is not a veterinarian and does not provide veterinary diagnoses. Information in the app is for guidance only. In an emergency, always contact a licensed veterinarian.

    Children

    PawDoc is not directed to children under 13.
